VueTech is hiring a Lead Security Technician to support the installation and maintenance of commercial security systems and network infrastructure across the Bay Area.
We specialize in surveillance systems, access control, structured cabling, and IT environments for businesses. With increasing demand and ongoing projects, we are expanding our field team to deliver high-quality installations and service.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who wants to work on real projects, grow technical skills, and take ownership in the field.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure security camera systems (IP cameras, NVRs, cloud systems)
- Install and maintain access control systems and alarm systems
- Run and terminate structured cabling
- Test systems to ensure full functionality before handoff
- Support project completion timelines and quality standards
Must Have
- 2+ years of experience in low voltage, security systems, or cabling
- Experience with IP cameras, NVR systems, or access control
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently on job sites
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Nice to have
- Experience with Ubiquiti, Hikvision, Dahua, or similar systems
- Experience with access control platforms (Brivo, Kisi, etc.)
- Fiber optic cabling experience
- Certifications in low voltage or networking
