VueTech is hiring a Service Technician to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of security systems and network infrastructure across the Bay Area.
This role focuses on diagnosing issues, resolving service calls, and maintaining systems for commercial clients. You will work independently in the field and play a key role in ensuring system reliability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with security camera systems, access control, and network equipment
- Respond to service calls and resolve technical problems on-site
- Perform maintenance and system upgrades for existing clients
- Test and verify system performance after repairs
- Communicate with clients to explain issues and solutions clearly
Must Have
- 2+ years of experience in low voltage, security systems, or service work
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with IP cameras, NVRs, or access control systems
- Ability to work independently in the field
Strong communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Nice to have
- Experience with Ubiquiti, Hikvision, Dahua, or similar systems
- Experience with access control platforms (Brivo, Kisi, etc.)
- Networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches)
- Experience with service ticket systems or CRM tools
- Certifications in low voltage or networking
